The NFL nor any team will want to appear anti-gay. They'll bend over backwards to make certain he performs well in the draft.

They'll act like it went up but no team is going to want the media/PR circus that follows this. They are going to hope some other team picks him up.
I support him and like that he seems to be doing this now as opposed to making a huge scene butnothing is going to stop the gay rights movement for sensationalizing this and being counterproductive

I disagree wholeheartedly with the OP. It just went way down. Look at Jason Collins in the NBA. Can't even find a job as a serviceable big man.

I disagree. If a seven footer can walk a chew gum, he can find his way on to an NBA roster.
If you think this won't hurt his stock, just see Kerry Rhodes, who is also being blacklisted from the NFL.
