Thread is half guys trying to explain it was a classy move the other half folding their tin foil hats to get prepared for the full on REC media take over. If the REC & Saban had as much power as some barners claim, Auburn and Tennessee would never win another game and be on perpetual probation with the NCAA.

Like it or not it is a class move and genuine good will.

Shaw was silent commit to Bama according to Shaw and his Coach.

Like it or not it is a classless way to get into the press that no one else could do. He can not put the kid on a football scholarship since it will count a against his initials and 85 until the SEC clears the waivers and processes it to the NCAA. They then will remove him from the list of eligible players and the government will continue to pay his school for the grants he will get. The thing is no coach in the SEC is lowlife enough to hurt a kids future, except for the midget, so no one will turn him in. The problem we have is that bamer is in the drivers seat in the SEC and NCAA with enforcement on their side. How the heck can you have a program that has to fire a coach for giving loans to a player and nothing happen to the school?

I don't know why, but I always hate when they spell bammer with only one m.

I don't understand those people. On one hand, all "Bammers" are toothless rednecks who live in trailer parks off of government assistance. On the other hand, the "Bammers" have sufficient funds to buy houses, cars, giving cash, police departments, NCAA compliance, SEC office, etc. Which one is it?

If we would stop spending all our money on those things we could afford to get out of the trailer park. Fortunately though, we have our priorities straight. A successful Bama cannot be contained in four walls.
