Screw playing him at DL. I think we've found the next Jorvorskie Lane. He busted one for about 60 yards and the DB's couldn't close the gap. That's freakish speed for a kid his size.

He's the 5th ranked DT in this CLASS. Screams one in a generation player IMO.

You got LSU and Bama fans, people who are used to seeing elite defenses year in and year out, listing Leo Lewis.

He's from Mississippi. No need for LSU and Bama fans to pump him up.

Adrian Petersen's film was the best I ever saw. The freshman film from Noel Devine was pretty sick, too.

Trey L had film Close to Daylon Mack's. They are both extremely explosive but for 2015 Leo Lewis has better film than anybody. The best system for him is in Alabama but I hope he gets a wild hair and wants to come to LSU

I didn't follow recruiting back then, how did Devine end up at West Virginia? I remember watching his highlight tape his senior year and being amazed. Was he not recruited by SEC schools?

Guys no one's film is better than Mack's. He's the best defensive player in years, that's why he is the number 1 rated player and DT.

His recruitment was interesting. I think he wasn't expected to qualify but somehow WVU got him qualified. I think Deion Sanders was actively trying to get him to FSU because he went to that same high school, too. It was all over the place.

Daylon Mack looks like a beast. I know he isn't ranked highest now, but he could very well end up the highest.

Great explosiveness, amazing speed for his size, power, good motor.

Reminded me of a faster A'Shawn Robinson.

I just don't understand this. I'm with those who think his film is truly exceptional. I'm not saying it's the best in the nation, but it's got to be in the top 5, regardless of position.

As mentioned, Thompson is probably 3 inches taller. That's why he's ranked higher.

No, he is better. That is why he is ranked higher.

Leo Lewis film is not close...he's a very good LB, Mack's is unlike any I've seen for a DT

Remember when LSU thought they were going to get some of the '15 East Texas kids like Mack? Lol

Remember when the '15 kids got a waiver and signed their LOI's earlier than 2015? Neither do I. Sit back and relax. 2015 will sort itself out buddy.
