UF picked up a scat back because of the new offensive system.

2 slot WR's. UF went WR heavy last year, and after Lane flipped, UF only targeted Rudolph who was already committed to FSU anyways. So they took 2 slot WR's and will look to sign 4 next year.

Did he qualify? I thought gw3 wasn't bright enough and was gonna have to go juco route? Was that just a rumor?

Just saw this....

Lots of zone read, more up tempo. 1back 1TE out of shotgun will be used heavily.

Am I making up that I remember Muschamp harping on being a power running team when he got there? It could have been that he knows he needs to adapt, but UF should be able to get the athletes for any scheme

Yep. You answered your own question. They really just don't have a strong enough OL/QB play to be a Bama/LSU type.

Doesn't matter. Unless UF finds a half decent O-coordinator they will suck arse again. They better leave GA Southern alone as well.

Don't forget DeAndre Goolsby. That kid is going to be legit.

I still hate that we missed out on him.

Roper is legit. If he can apply what he has learned from working with Cutcliffe everything should work out well. The question is will it be too little too late?

I think Cutcliffe has a little more to do with DUKE's success than Roper. I bet Cutcliffe calls mor plays than Roper did. But if you want to learn offense, then Cutcliffe is a GREAT COACH to learn it from. That is where TN wen't wrong. They should have canned Fulmer long before 2005 and brought in Cutcliffe. Fulmer rode the coat-tails of good assistant coaches. Cutcliffe won TN's 98' championship in many TN fans eyes. I hope Roper falls flat on his face lol.. Always fun seeing UF get their arse handed to them with their totally obnoxious, delusional fans. Their moronic fans seem to think football started in 1995 lol... UF wasn't shyt untill Spurrier 95'. They have 3 National Titles but you would think they had 12 lol. They would have only 1 if it weren't for their best cheerleader Tedbow. He turned out to be SUPERMAN alright lol..

UF is a speed based recruiting state, especially for offensive talent. The spread is a better "fit".
