Who would you want your ACC opponent to be?

ACC wants agreement with SEC

I'm not sure why the SEC would agree to this, but if it did, what match-ups would you like to see? Obviously the following are already spoken for -

Georgia - Georgia Tech
Florida - Florida State
South Carolina - Clemson
Kentucky - Louisville

Here are some other good match-ups -

Vanderbilt - Wake Forest (basically already exists)
Tennessee - Virginia Tech
LSU - Miami

Any others?

We'll probably get stuck with North Carolina, so that's coo.

I'd rather not have permanent ones for the teams who don't have traditional/geographically sensible rivals. It would get tiring to play like North Carolina or Pittsburgh every year

I wouldn't mind a cross conference rivalry. LSU Miami would make me happy since we both try to hit respective states hard

I'd want FSU or Georgia Tech but both are already taken. North Carolina?

This reminds me of the Mississippi schools avoiding scheduling Southern Miss all those years basically because Southern had nothing to lose and everything to gain out of it.

The SEC really gains nothing out of the deal. The ACC has everything. See Dabo's comments.

Whoever goes to Miami benefits from it. For most of the league, an ACC team can replace a cupcake.

Auburn has 3 ACC ties that aren't normally played anymore and I could get on board with any of the three, Clemson, GT and FSU.

frick em. They know they can get a bid just by playing us when otherwise a lot of their teams would be out in the cold due to their creampuff conference not having a strength of schedule strong enough to boost them. I don't mind playing now and again but an agreement like this does not benefit the SEC or our fans. It benefits the ACC.
