It appears that Alan Evans has managed to have one of the quickest closings ever for a business. Glad to know that either selling his business/getting out a lease is that quick for my future business adventures.
I wonder what his new job will be, I hear house watching seems to be a growing job market in Alabama

Seriously though, congrats on the pickup, not looking forward to playing him for 3-4 years and excited for the hard fought IBs to come. Just thought the timing on this could have been more appropriate to avoid suspicion even if it is just that.

Looks shady. May be. May not be. Either way, the kid genuinely seems like a better fit position wise at Bama than at AU. It's not like he didn't have reasons to go to Bama.
Didn't au fans say for months that he wasn't coming to AU b/c he didn't want to go to college in the same town he grew up in?

Look, I'm not gonna jump to conclusions. People do it to LSU (and did with PP7), people do it with Bama, people do it to AU (with Cam). Until one of these is actually proven I'm not buying into the hype that it is...and I mean proven true - not message board chatter and/or fans of a team that didn't sign a kid looking for any and every possible reason why they lost except that the kid genuinely preferred the other team.
LSU fans have claimed that we lost CRob b/c of handlers, but I don't buy that. I also don't think this kid was "bought". Nick is too smart to do something this blatant. If he was gonna do it the business would have been funded under table until it sold several months later. Just sayin'
