We all know how much help we need in the secondary. After this past season and the mishap with his eligibility, I'm thinking he'll be able to help back there after getting some work in this spring and summer. He was all over the damn place in the bowl game on SS. Am I wrong in this assessment? Is he just a SS hero, or can he contribute some meaningful PT for the D next year?

The coaches were high on him at CB before the issues came up.

If nothing else I think he will end up being quality depth.

I don't know why we would need much help, especially if Tee qualifies, which I think he will. Senquez, Jones, and Hilton are for sure ahead of Davis. Webster and Standifer will push for that fourth spot if Tee doesn't make it. He's a stud on ST for sure

Not sure if serious... Inevitably someone will get hurt or get in trouble. It happens every year. Look at what happened with Sawyer and Senquez. To say Standifer will push for a spot is comical IMO.

A spot on the depth chart, not to start. But yes if 2-3 players ahead of Carlos get hurt or in trouble, he may play.

Are you thinking of Burdette?

Anyone think Q. Mireles will move back to WR?

I like Davis because he is a little ball hawk. The secondary competition will be fierce. I see CP moving up to play more of an OLB. Standifer is not listed on the roster I copied the other day. But this is a list of present DB's along with those who have signed for next season. Not a bad list. If they can all get the grades and get out of trouble.
Cliff Coleman
Tony Conner
Mike Hilton
Senquez Golson
Chief Brown
C.J. Hampton
Derrick Jones
Anthony Alford
Quintavius Burdette
Trae Elston
Carlos Davis
Tee Shepard
Kendarius Webster
David Kamara
Calvin Moore
LaKedrick King
Tyriek Gracia
Justin Anderson
Bobby Hill

Burdette has moved to the slot. Tee, Standifer, Webster, and Davis will compete for the 4th spot. Hill too if he's still on the team

Add another DB to that list in DK Buford. Gonna start him out at the husky position. Kid is up to 215lb. I love this move

So that's a for sure move that he's ok with?

I like the idea, I just hope he's dedicated to the move.

DK will player wherever they put him. Kid wont give Ole Miss any problems. He's a good kid. Never seen him tackle anyone.

I think it is wild he has been able to put on so much weight. I thought he'd always be around 195. All I can tell you though is there wont be very many people on the team faster than that kid. I'd pay to see the Moore trio and DK race.

I'm curious what happens with Kailo. Does he play RB? Slot?
