Yeah, knew there would be transfers, but didn't expect any from an Olineman that had played a good bit. Hmmmm.

Didn't y'all already lose 3 starters to graduation? Gates, Lee, Burnette?

Beard wasnt a starter this year but was in the rotation. He prob would have been a starter though.

I think he was destined to be the odd man out and then some, which this move indicates. This is probably good news on Ward. Given the move, I'd say:

LT Ward
LG Kublanow
C Andrews
RG Houston
RT Theus

Dantzler, Long, Pyke off the bench

ETA: Outside of those 8, I believe we still have 7 other scholarship OL on campus once the freshmen report.

I think you are right on .. that's how it will look when they take the field vs Clemson.

However, I think by season's end, it will look very different.

More like:

LT Houston
LG Pyke
C Same
RG Ward
RT Dantzler

I hear what you're saying, but I think Theus steps and makes some $$$ this year.

With that said, I think Houston will be sneaky good as he gets more and more practice reps and game experience.

I'll go on record predicting he doesn't have a sack in the opener. Not that I think our OL will be dominant nor am I predicting a W, but I think Bobo will give him the treatment.
