I'm not talking coordinators. Only position coaches.

For A&M it's without question David Beaty, our WR coach and recruiting coordinator.

In two years time, he's coached the two best WRs in A&M history. He took a guy like Derrel Walker--a former juco walk-on--and transformed him into a 750 yard 5 TD guy. He coached Travis Labhart--a former walk-on and women's basketball scout team member--and made him one of our most sure-handed WRs.

Dude's signed at least 10 WRs ranked four star or higher in the last three classes.

He's the gem of our staff, to be sure.

Who's yours?

Tough call between John Chavis or Frank Wilson. With Cam Cameron coming on fast.

Sam Pittman, because he's the best Oline coach in the country and a baller on the recruiting trail.

Two of those three are coordinators.

Brick Haley from a coaching standpoint and Wilson as a recruiter, but neither is bad at anything.

Cam Cameron easily. He took an offense that couldn't get out of its own way one year, to the following year be the only offense in SEC history with a 3000 yard passer, a pair of 1000 yard receivers, and a 1000 yard back.

Rodney Garner, great recruiter. And worked a miracle with our d line last year.

Bryan McClendon. He does a phenomenal job with our RBs and was named recruiter of the year. Convinced Sony Michel and Nick Chubb to join a roster with Gurley, Marshall, and White Lightning.

IDK!

Seriously, it's difficult to determine. We haven't seen our defensive staff in action yet and every position coach on offense except Friend could make an argument.

I'll say Bobo though. Very good recruiter, not quite as good as McClendon, but coaches the most important position on the field. QBs he's coached include David Greene, DJ Shockley, Matt Stafford, and Aaron Murray. He also recruited Mettenberger.

Not too shabby.

Ball (WR) and McClendon (RB) both have good arguments though.

Was he also there in 2010? If so, I would have to agree. Great job.
