Oh, if only Carter could have the impact of Clowney (his first two years. Not last year when he had sand in his vagina all season).

Here's hoping.
Needless to say, the potential is there.

It'd be nice to turn the tables on those overconfident fricksticks, due east, and terrorize their QB for a change.

I mean we have some serious talent at edge rusher. Floyd, Jenkins, Carter, and I count Drew too.
Wildcards are Bellamy and McGee. I hope Pruitt can figure a way to get inside pressure. One major thing lacking in UGA defenses.

One can only hope we have 2012 Clowney in Carter
And then he makes Slurrier quit

Hopefully he has a better work ethic than Clowney and can shed blockers better. Honestly, last season in most of the games I watched involving SC, it seemed like blockers were getting on Clowney's body and blocking him pretty easily. He really wasn't much of a factor in most of the games I watched.

I appreciate and understand the enthusiasm, but isn't it a little early to put the Clowney tag on the kid?
I sure do hope he materializes into something resembling Clowney, though.
I know I'm new here and I just wanted to let everyone who contributed yesterday to the NSD thread and updated who sent their LOIs in know I appreciated the effort.

Interesting to see how similar the two are at the time they came into their respective programs.

We can dream. If he works hard and stays humble, there is no reason he cannot reach Clowney's level.

SCAR has NEVER won anything of importance?

You laugh but their measurables are extremely similar. They're both athletic freaks to boot. I don't get what's so funny about the comparison.

Hopefully Carter introduces himself properly to Dillon this year

Over/under on Carter breaking his thumb in Fall camp?
Pass rush should be pretty fricking good. If we can also stop the run, the defense will be fun to watch.

Dylan Thompson, projected starting QB for SCAR next season.
