This is for both fanbases, you can trade one event for the other. Sign Evans for three years, or rewrite that game score.
For the sake of argument we'll assume in this hypothetical that Bama winning doesn't lead to a natty, since neither team won their bowl game.

Evans is an undersized LB that will take at least two years in a strength and conditioning program before he hits the field at Bama.

I'll put it this way. Bama can have any recruit they want as long as we can win the Iron Bowl every year.
I think (and hope) the Iron Bowl will be competitive for years to come. Much more fun than getting our asses handed to us in 2011 and 2012.

The game basically paved the way (pending SECCG) for who would get a shot at the NCG. Even Bama fans as used to they are to being in the race should have perspective enough that no single prospect is worth trading that shot away for
