Kiper and McShay have him at the #2 pick. Sure this is old news, but his hard work is about to pay off.

Have we ever had a OL go this high?

I know Robinson had a great season but I guess I never focused on him during games. Check these highlights from the Mizzou game. Good lord.

Kendall Simmons is the highest somewhat recent OL player I can think of, but he was a late first rounder.

McShay also said Greg Robinson is the second best overall football player in this draft behind Clowney...not just fits at the 2nd pick, but thinks he will be an elite tackle in the NFL

Ah, yeah....knew there was another more recent first rounder, couldn't for the life of me figure out who it was though.

I just watched the first 4 mins of that and Greg is holding most plays and is especially illegally downfield on that screen to Coates

he's still a beast though

Sorry, I'm old. He played most of his career after I graduated.

I mean it would be like saying that last FB drafted in the first round from Auburn was Terry Frederickson then

Also, while talking about #1 overall picks, anyone else find that NFL.com has Ken Rice, former Auburn OG, as a #1 overall pick?

Kendall Simmons was cool. He used to be over at a buddy of mine's apartment all the time playing video games.

Not really.

Pass was behind the LOS = no illegal man downfield.

Marcus McNeil was a first rounder, but I can't remember how high he went

pretty sure MM went in the 2nd round... due to concerns with his chronic back problems (which ultimately cost him his NFL career).

No, a neck injury in 2011 cost him his NFL career.

The right side looked pretty good in those clips as well. Grob will be missed, but our OL should be damn good again.

gotcha... it may have been the neck that cost him 1st round status.
