Let that sink in.

Don't forget Jon Allen, A'Shawn Robinson, or even a blitzing Reuben Foster.

Not enough? Imagine the quarterback gets the ball out of his hands quickly only to get it intercepted by Marlon Humphrey. Marlon Humphrey uses his speed and elusiveness and gets a pick six. Bam.
Today reminds me of Christmas when I was younger. Too much excitement. Way overstimulated.

With Foster, Allen, and A'shawn, Eddie Jackson, Smith, AND Tony Brown? Good grief. 2014 & 2015 will not be pleasant for Alabama opposition.

How do you even block that much talent up front? That's just insane.

I was told the point of a 3-4 is not to rush the QB.
I hope these guys can do it consistently.

It looks like we are moving more towards a 4-3.

This is shaping up to be one of the more athletic d-lines Saban has had. Reminds me of the pro bowl when the front 4 was nothing but pass rushers. The offensive line didn't stand a chance.

This may lead to a few deaths at the opposing QB position

Our front seven in two years will be:
----Allen---Robinson---Hand----
--Miller--Foster--Ragland--Evans
Every one of these guys was a 5* on at least one service and most were consensus 5* guys.

Our D is always multiple we are in 4-2-5 Nickel as much as we are base 3-4. Saban isn't abandoning his D or his O, I don't know why that is a popular opinion among Bama fans.
And in Saban's 3-4 (Parcells Belichick) yes the DL gets after the QB, the D does not sacrifice position to do it. Saban's D is fundamentally a very conservative D. We use Mush rush instead of bull rushing. We also have a "safe blitz" we use more than we actually blitz. By safe blitz I mean we still just rush four but the fourth guy is a DB/LB like a regular pressure blitz gets a faster guy after the QB.

Saban will let them rush harder more. He's more or less said it with his talks about getting to the QB more next year. If he isn't willing to change while CFB is, that is a problem. Good news is, he knows that. He's going to change. Not a whole lot sure, but he's not gonna sit back and watch his scheme slowly fail more and more.

Wow, so 10 of our starting 11 on defense would be a 5* recruit. Do a starting lineup with only the 5*s
What about on offense. I know the lineman aren't usually 5*s unless they're projected as a LT. So most of our 5* guys on offense will be WR/RB/LT and TE ...
Someone make a depth chart using all the 5* guys first and then the 4*s. I don't think there will be a position that will not be at least a 4* with over half being 5s.

If Eddie Williams wasn't a shithead, he'd still be here and possibly start next to LC next year. Which would have given us a full starting lineup of 5 stars.

The OL would be tough. If memory serves, C-Rob may be the only five star on the OL. Lot of 4 stars though. I may be wrong and forgetting someone though.
Cornwell isn't a five star, but I honestly believe he would be if he hadn't gotten hurt during this past season.
RB would have Yeldon, Henry, and Bo as five stars.
WR could have Robert Foster, Bo if you count him at WR, uh I think that may be it, but again plenty of four stars. Pretty sure Coop/Black were four stars, but one MAY have been a five star on one of the sites.
TE is OJ Howard.
So, realistically, our entire starting offense/defense could be 5 and 4 stars, but mostly 5 stars, but not all of the 5 stars will start in 2014.

wasn't Cornwell a 5 in the initial 247 rankings?
