Not highly regarded players from a recruiting perspective. It's early though. Not that it really matters as long as the coaches know what they're doing.

Would CeCe Jefferson be correctly characterized as a heavy Gator lean? I ask because he's visiting UGA this weekend

He's a gator lean. He's not too heavy though. Cece's in really good shape.

Based on info out there, I think it's safe to say UF leads. He has been on campus a ton already this Winter/Spring and UF will tell him to come in and compete for a starting spot right away with DFJ likely bolting for the NFL after this year. UF didn't take a pass rushing DE last year after Carter picked UGA, because they wanted to make it an easier sell to CeCe this year.

We need at least five more OL and probably at least 1 JUCO OL to keep depth from being in dire straits...then at least four more in 2016 and then we can breathe a little easier.

I realize it's early, but is anyone else nervous about this class? Seems like Boom usually starts getting commitments early every year, and we don't have a single 4 or 5 star commit yet

Not at all. UF is in great shape for a ton of studs. So many good prospects visiting this Spring as well, which hasn't happened a ton. Hughes has done an excellent job in his role for UF.

It's still really early, I wouldn't worry about it.
Also, according to espn, 2 of our recruits are now in the ESPN 150 (Payton and Jordan).
What UF really needs is a solid season to confirm that Muschamp isn't losing his job. I bet that a lot of recruits will take a wait and see approach with UF this cycle.

But yeah, even though it is early, it is still really tough to see UF ranked below the rest of the SEC in recruiting right now.

Still way early. Teams negatively recruiting UF like crazy in regards to WM's job security.

Well.....they wont have anything to say about job security after this year....Boom will be indeed secure and receive a long term extension imo and that will shut the doors on job security.
We know there is always the decommitts in the wars of recruiting and I think UF will gain a few that see our success in 2014 and wanna be a part of it.
As far as recruiting in general...we have plenty of top prospects out there who haven't committed and few have that are in the top 50 lists of most recruiting services. We will get more than our share.
