I know it's a complicated thing, recruiting, but how in the hell is Tennessee going 10 over the limit?

We signed 32. We are done.

1 grayshirt
1 academic casualty
1 flip

Multiple players processed.

I'm guessing something similar to how Georgia took 33 last year.

In layman's terms from the article....

Basically if UT has guys sign financial aid agreements (see their HUGE load of early enrollees) early, they can "back count" them. Their 2013 class was under the 25 man limit. They don't have to worry about actual scholarship slots for awhile so they'll start processing to get down to that.

Then you have "blue-shirting" where in a certain situation a scholarship player can be counted forward but played immediately. But it has to be an unrecruited player which doesn't happen very often and I don't know that it'd apply to anyone they bring in at this point.
