Stanford and Texas have the best classes in the PAC 12 and the Big 12, respectively. They would be good for 9th in the SEC.

Yet, all of these teams feel slighted when the 2 loss SEC team is ranked ahead of the 2 loss PAC12 or BIG12 team.

And that isn't changing any time soon. We will look back in twenty years and realize the complete coup the SEC got in first Arkansas and South Carolina and then Mizzou and Texas A&M. It's an absolute monster conference and will routinely dominate in recruiting.

And their jealousy/denial of SEC greatness will always continue.

3 west teams in the top 5 alone. Absurd how much talent is in this one division

Vandy probably would have cracked the top 20-25 too. 10 of the top 25 ain't too fricking shabby though

SEC is worlds apart from just about every other conference in terms of talent. No question.

All conferences have some great teams however. FSU ain't going away and USC will be back.

But SEC is the best no doubt.

Plus, aside from being in the most talent-rich region of the country, a lot of the SEC's recruiting momentum came because of oversigning, a pretty deplorable practice imo. I know that rules are now in place (how effective they are is another story), but by that point the damage had already been done. The SEC had already had about a decade of recruiting dominance under their belts and tons and tons of momentum.
