I won't be shocked if we land Jefferson but am still not really expecting it. BAMA and Florida were his top 2 early on and have both been in the hunt the entire process. I just think when it's time to put pen to paper he stays at home, but I think he'll struggle with the decision.

This kid managed to make his decision stranger than Isaiah Prince. He was down to Alabama and Auburn. Set a commit date and wanted to hold off, then chooses someone not among his finalists.

Im not to concerned about CVO. He's a very good talent, but his grades and transcript are going to be a big issue and with our availability with whats left in this class, its not worth the risk

A great recruiting job by LSU in the end. I think UA put him on hold waiting to see what was going to do and AU may have done the same thing with Ivey. Both schools looking at CVO as a backup plan while LSU telling him they want him.

I think our staff dropped the ball here. The same thing with Gunner(glad he did not commit looking back) and Winston and not getting neither in the end.
Now two weeks before NSD with only one spot for an OT and we are still recruiting hard 3 OTs. Apparently got Prince upset and CVO went where he was made a top priority and Richmond also not happy only looking at UT and Ole Miss now.

It's hard to know if the ball was dropped with CVO without knowing the details of his academic situation. There have been so many conflicting reports.

I tend to agree but it seemed we may have waited to long to secure an OT in this class with the limited options available this year.
