Josh Newberg just said that Ridley will visit Bama this weekend. He also conceded Ridley to Bama. He talked to his sources and Ridley is firm in his commitment. Doesn't think FSU has a shot anymore.
Suck it, Noles.

What has Bone said on Cowart lately??
Back and forth, he's not as confident as he was after the visit. Thinks it's between Bama and FSU, felt it was 50-50 last week(down from 75% after his official).
That high seems to be over for everyone, even Cowart. Said he'd be at 2 more Bama games after his official, has made 0 of those.

They definitely want a 2nd back. Doing a great job of making it interesting..
how does bo scarborough count? He would still be considered part of the 2014 class, but with eligibility like he was a 2015 recruit? i think he is going to be a seriously dangerous player in kiffins offense, someone that gets moved around alot

He's a back counter for the 2015 class because he's coming in in January. He never enrolled anywhere, so his 4 year eligibility never started.
However, he can now leave as a true sophomore, which is a possibility if he comes in as good as advertised. That's another reason I think they want another back, it gets shallow if you chart it out.
And I agree, been saying that it will be a failure of usage if he's just a RB. He's a chess piece that you need to squeeze every ounce of ability from while you can...

Apparently Mizzou side is saying hale will visit them this weekend on an unofficial. He told BOL he'd visit alabama for the iron bowl. This one might be worth monitoring.

Their game is on Friday, so he could be doing both. 30 minute drive to Columbia for the game.
His interest is there though, especially if he officials in January.
Can't imagine it's TE usage related, as they really don't feature it either.

Yes he is considered a part of the 2014 class. The new rules have a payer that signs a NLI, even if they do not qualify, count against the class. So since he signed a NLI for the 2014 class he is a part of that class. The old rule allowed us to null and void the NLI if they did not qualify. But yes he also has all his eligibility.
Technically not a back counter but takes the spot for a possible back counter.

I am beginning to think people are voting against Coop, just because he is Alabama.

Rashard Higgins, of Colorado State University has 64% to Amari Cooper's 26%. Their level of competition can't be as good as the SEC. I wonder who is driving this!
Does anyone know much about Rashard Higgins? (Post stats etc)
Go vote for Amari. He will be a 1st round pick in the NFL next year! Makes great impression on recruits too!
