Committed today. Final four were Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Florida, Penn State. He was supposed to visit Vandy over the weekend but got sick and didn't make it--still committed.
I think he's a really good pickup for Vandy. He wants to become a surgeon, so Vandy's a good choice.

Oh yea. We would've taken him for sure. Kids got good feet and a great frame to build around.

Yes. All four of his finalists were commitable from my understanding.
From what I gather, he had Vandy as his top choice prior to Franklin leaving. When Franklin left, he opened up his recruiting again and took OV's to Arkansas and Florida and seemed to be set to decide between the two. However, Mason started recruiting him again after being hired at Vandy and they quickly shot back up to the top.
Academics were a big part of his decision obviously.

i still think we take him if he wants to come. But he doesn't. Good pickup Vandy. Academics were this kids top priority.

We were waiting on Prince so I'm not sure you want to call our offer committable. It may not have mattered anyway.
Prince and Kelly are still on the board.
Very few were talking about the Mike kid on our boards. I never saw him on "must have" type lists. Not saying he's not good.

Thats what I was wondering as well. I checked their board they didnt seem like they were aware/or having him as a "must have situation"???
