Acoording to coachingsearch.com
Would be a very meh hire IMO. Dan must have been impressed by the 17 points he put up on us in the Music City Bowl.

Sidenote: if we do hire him I want to state right here, on the Grindrant, that it was my idea to call him Dude or The Big Lobotzke.

Why? Seems like an excellent coach. WF was always really well coached and usually had a pretty damn solid offense. I would be excited to snag him and have a new person to work with Dak. We're not gonna hire a big name for that position. This is a bigger one that I would have imagined actually.

From his twitter: Follower of Christ, family man, and football coach.

He and Hugh are going to throw down.

Knowing a Wake fan or two personally, I'd be underwhelmed if we got anybody from their staff.

I know its thrown around a lot as a joke for QB coach, but think about Deshea Townsend and Brett Favre sitting in your living room telling you how they are going to put you in the NFL.

Regardless, I guess he doesn't need the money and I seriously doubt he would want to put in the time.

Someone pls help me make sense out of this. I hope this is BS.

4. How will Dan Mullen round out his staff at Mississippi State? A source informed me on Sunday that Mullen is considering shifting Scott Sallach from tight ends to quarterbacks. He would then hire a tight ends coach. Per source, Mullen is leaning towards calling the plays again next season. One coach under consideration is former Wake Forest offensive coordinator Steed Lobotzke.

I personally don't want Sallach within 1,000,000 miles of the team much less Dak.

On one hand I wouldn't think we would do something this fricking stupid.

Amazing how accountable the defensive staff has to be vs the offense.
