For the gambling degenerates on here... what kind of play should I expect from a casino on a major cruise line? About to go on my first casino and will undoubtedly make my was over to the casino to see what's happening there.

i won a good bit on my senior cruise. I played black jack and roulette . That was back when cruises weren't so trashy and breaking down every week.

They're decent to awful. I've never see one that impressed me. Maybe I've taken the wrong cruise lines

I've always heard that. Is it seriously worth doing a month before a cruise?

For craps, you only need to "learn" how to make like three bets. There are thousands of ways to bet craps but most are crazy odds that you won't ever win.

Yeah but stay away from the hard way and other bets.

Look up how to bet The Pass, The Odds, and Place bets.

Those three are all you really need to know.

Don't pass, and odds, then sit there and don't celebrate a win.

Throw a 5 dollar yo randomly.

I don't know if they have slot there or not, but I'd stay away. I'm sure the payout percentages are even worse than a regulated real casino.

If you want to actually make money

Slots

Not joking

They change the odds the first few days to make it super easy to win. It gets people hooked, then after a couple days they change the odds back to normal.

I've done it several times on cruises, turned $200 into $1000 on the first day or two just playing slots. You have to be disciplined though and stop.

Has clearly never seen Passenger 57, or chooses to ignore the financial wisdom and advice of Mr. Snipes.

Craps and Caribbean Stud poker if you can find it. Always play the bonus on CS.

You can win early in the week so make your coin and be done with it. By late week you will be donating more than winning.

Play the first day and don't set foot in there again. They are rigged to give out winnings the first night in order to attract ppl for the next nights. I played a wheel of fortune slot machine, turned $5.00 into $500. Got up after that and never set foot in the casino again. All my friends won money the first night, by night 3 they lost everything they were willing to spend and their winnings from the first night.

Slots first night and that's it.

I don't usually gamble but the last cruise we went on, we talked to a couple that has been on a few and said they'll take $100 for the first day of the trip and then not go back. Always made money.

Pass line, odds, then bet 6 and 8 unless it's the point... Get drunk and bet the field once in a while if you get jittery

I had a cousin one cruise that hit like a straight flush on one of the Electronic Poker Games and turned like 20 bucks into $600. Cashed out and put it on his account to pay for drinks and everything else on the cruise. Never went back into the casino after that.

Now it makes sense if the machines are actually looser on first night.
