If SEC Basketball Is So Bad, Then Why Is Mizzou Struggling So Much?

Missouri ought to be running this league, but they are average at best. All that we hear is that SEC basketball is horrible year after year and we have teams with 20+ wins that don't get into the NCAAs because of poor RPI. But, then Missouri comes in, a team that has been well respected in recent years, and they are an average SEC team.

What gives?

No. Read my post again.

Everyone says it is horrible. Missouri was supposed to be really good and would be up there with Kentucky and Florida. But, Missouri is average at best in the not good SEC.

What is going on?

Either, Missouri isn't any good or the SEC is better than people say.

It is a question about presuppositions.

Mizzou was better in those years and the SEC is having a year with several programs playing at a higher level than usual.

OK so if the SEC is bad, and all agree on that. Mizzou must not be performing up to expectations for their first season and a half. Not much sample size.

Short answer, Mizzou not doing well so far.

Honestly, I think that SEC basketball is a little bit better than many think it is and I think that northeastern teams get too much respect in the vast scheme of things.

Then again, LSU lost to freaking Rhode Island this year with their RPI in the mid 200's, so we didn't help matters much.

No.
I just thought it was humorous. Back to the OTP. Mizzou's problem isn't the SEC, the players, the fans, etc... their problems are hidden beneath Frank Haith. The proof is in the pudding.

I have my reservations about Haith, but in his defense, the current Mizzou team has zero post presence. It's hard to win games without any options in the paint.

Careful or these little whining crying sniveling pasty white yankee mizzerite bitches will be RAing you for trolling them.

Regardless of their overrated basketball prowess, or lack thereof, they definitely lead the league in instances hypocrisy and mendacity on the SECr.

More to the point, while they seem to be St Louis Cardinal and basketball fans first and foremost, their basketball team is average even for the SEC.

That isn't a defense of Haith since he recruited all those forwards that can't play worth a shite.

He recruited Oriakhi. That seemed to be a success. He missed on Keanau Post, but so did everyone else. Even Rick Majerus wanted Post. Let's see how Price and JW3 pan out before saying Haith can't recruit.

You are a dirt bag. Using a rape and suicide to troll. For shame a-hole. Your thread was deleted because it was low class, given you authored it it really shouldnt have come as much of a surprise.
