Another guy just flipped to Stanford & now Vandy is down to nine recruits (5 of which are DBs.)

Meanwhile, Tennessee is up to 40.

I thought ya could only sign 25 plus EEs

What a clusterf'ck.

I'd want to form a Union too..,

I think they can sign up to 35 in the class with having 10 back counted. I guess the others will be greyshirted or will go the JC route. All I know from my UT buddies is they can sign a lot this year with back counting and EE's.

Man, butch is processing like crazy. So they are signing 27 with back counting. Yea, I thought they were limited to 25?

ETA: oh, gray shirting.

They're trying to do this thing called blue shirting. Basically, some of their legacy guys didn't take OVs or have coaches visit them, so they technically aren't recruited. They can then sign scholarship papers in August and not count against the 25, theoretically.

I will laugh hysterically if this backfires on them and they get sanctions. I figure no one ever blue shirts for a reason.

Holy hell, blue shirting. Bold strategy, UT, bold. And bold for these kids who get really boned in the end.

I think it is because you just have to account for them the next year and none of them are going to be particularly great prospects since they can't be "recruited" officially.

I feel sorry for Vandy. Franklin fricked them over big time.
