Take a shot, in order, name the next five National Championships at South Carolina:

1 - Equestrian (within the next two years counting this one)
2 - Baseball (within the next two years counting this one)
3 - Women's Basketball (within the next three years counting this one)
4 - Men's Tennis (within the next three years counting this one)
5 - Football (it needs to happen ASAP)

................

Where we need to apply pressure to improve in specific areas ...

There is no excuse for us not having championship caliber Volleyball, Men's and Women's soccer, Men's and Women's golf, Softball and Women's Tennis.

We're not going to be world beaters in Men's Basketball anytime soon, but the proper measures have been taken in order for us to greatly improve over the course of the next few years. We'll be very competitive beginning next year - perhaps before the end of this year we'll send notice that we're getting there.

And finally, I love and respect Coach Frye, but it is time for us to get back to competing for Championships in track. I realize that we have to up our standards with regard to facilities, but whatever it takes let's get it done and move forward. There is no excuse for us not being a consistent Top 10 program in both men's and women's Track & Field, Indoor and Outdoors.

I think that sounds about right. I would love a CFB Championship this year and every year of course, but with the questions we are addressing on the DL and CB this year, I'm not overly confident. I think we'll absolutely have a Top 25 team this year, I'm actually pretty confident about a Top 15 team this year, but after that, I don't know.

DL and CB

Boys will have to grow up fast, much like the LB core this year.

and they did a GREAT job. If you would've told me that not only was one of our True FR going to be an All SEC LB and All American FR LB, I would've not believed you, but it happened...Skai Moore.

So it might happen for 1 or even 2 of our CB's if it all works out. However, if you tell me that Sawyer as an SEC DL is going to be FR. All SEC & All American, I'll think you're crazy Not b/c Sawyer isn't talented, but they actually allow RS FR to be counted on those polls and there are about to be a bunch of good RS FR on DL's all over, not just in the SEC. It's a HUGE jump for a HS DL/OL to move into the SEC, no matter how highly rated out of HS.

Yeah, they'll have a good chance to exact some revenge and put the hurt on Gurley this year. Lord knows playing against a healthy, Erin Murray led team week 2 was a birth in fire. I expect Moore to be a standout player next season.

I still believe some of y'all are underestimating Green, the Dixon Brothers, Surratt, Dukes, English, Griffin, Harris, Turner, Washington ... then add Lamin for the Spring then add what we are bringing-in next fall.

We'll be fine along the DLine.

With regard to Green, Dixon and Dukes, let's not forget that most DLinemen do not blossom until their third years in the system.

Out of that group of names, Griffin, Surratt, Dukes, and Washington stand out to me.

I think we will be good on the DL next season, but the real question is at CB. I guess we will just have to wait til fall practice to see if some of these young guys coming in have what it takes to start as a freshmen in the SEC. Gilmore did, and did very well. I would love to see a repeat performance from one of our recruits.
