Looks like he has decided to help out on staff next year. He could be a real asset.

Really liked Kelin Johnson back in the day. Every time I think about him I picture him intercepting Brandon Cox's first pass during the blackout

While I admire your enthusiasm, shouldn't we wait until we show improvement on the field next year?

I mean, we're UGA. Preseason expectations are kind of our thing

Or at least see how this year's recruiting class is going to pan out.

Makes two of us. I'm pretty excited to have him on board.

what a shitty mindset. How else are we supposed to react? Just be completely stoic with no emotion whatsoever, simply because we haven't played a game yet? We're 8 months from kickoff and it is widely known that defense has been what's held us back the last few yeas. So here we are making major changes on defense, and by all accounts seem to be upgrades, so yeah I think we have a right to be a little excited.

Love KJ as a player and leader. Could be a young BMac.

I like that former players have a future with the staff.

I did too but Ray Goff cured me of that. Not to mention certain OCs.

Who is Eckler? Anyone have the skinny on this tidbit? Supposedly on the coaching radar?

KJ played way above his talent/physical ability. Hopefully,he can pass that on.

Anyone know how many GAs a program is allowed? Looks like we have four, pending any that might move on due to graduation/other opportunities. Reason I ask is I was under impression you could have four. And I thought Richt usually had two primarily for offense and two primarily for defense.

4 full-time guys. 2 on each side of the ball.

There are volunteer GA's/Student assistants as well.

McClendon's situation was rare. Grad assistants don't generally get promoted to full time position coaches at big programs.
