Looks like Dutchtown head coach Benny Saia isn't too happy about the Arkansas staff parting ways with two of his kids in the 11th hour.

These are some tweets just now from Robin Fambrough at The Advocate:

"Dutchtown coach Benny Saia reports that Arkansas rescinded scholarship offers to Corey McBride and Torrance Mosley."

"Dutchtown coach Benny Saia said he didn't ask why Arkansas dropped the commits to Mosley and McBride. He hung up."

"This is second year in a row Arkansas has backed out on a BR kid. Last year it was Denham Springs RB Kaleb Blanchard."

Coaches shouldn't take this shite personal. If the kid had SEC offer, chances are he'll still play D1 football. Arky just felt they were not a fit. No point in whining about it. Id rather get the news early they don't want me than get cut from the team later.

Doesn't change the fact that all 3 were done in the 11th hour.

Spots that these recruits previously had to fall back on could be no longer available.

Do you know why they were dropped? I know both are considered a risk gradewise. I believe Mosely moreso than McBride

Kaleb Blanchard was processed because JL Smith had offered him and he isn't even good enough to crack South Alabama's lineup. Beilema realized it and had to make that call.

I feel like Bert is really gunning for that perennial 7th place spot in the division.

Why are they considered grade risks?

Yea it is late in the game and that sucks for the players. But if I'm Arky I don't want two of three players that are not going to improve my team. Maybe they feel more posititve about other players. I'm sure they wish they didn't burn any bridges. But three/two wasted scholarships is something you have to avoid when you are climbing back from 0-8.

I think you might be a grade risk, Ed.

Especially with the sign 25 (unless your Tenn.) rule. You cant take grade risks either.

My son plays sports at that school. They were going to give these kids plaques and a little memorial thing for getting an sec scholarship. Now, just LSU and bama stuff.

So there is no validity that 1 of them is shy his ACT score and the other needs to make a C or better in a certain class to be eligible GPA wise?

No point in even arguing at this point, it's bad publicity for you down here, period. Yu aren't down here, you don't know.

Bump this when the kids show up on somebodies div1 or juco campus.

I just glad I won't have to see the ugly memorial to arkansas now at a major feeder school

McBride doesn't have the test score and Mosely isn't going to qualify.

SEC 25 rule means coaches have to make tough decisions, especially in rebuilding mode when you can't whiff.
