Class cancelled tomorrow

For those of you that attend UA. It was some scary stuff driving over bridges today. Took me 4 hours to get from campus to my apartment.
A message from UNIVERSITY RELATIONS
Based on current predictions from the National Weather Service, UA will cancel day and evening classes, events and activities, and normal operations on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
The Rec Center, the Libraries and the Ferguson Center will be closed.
Dining halls at Lakeside and Burke and Julia’s Market in Tutwiler will be open.
Crimson Ride buses will not run.
Call 348-5454 if you need emergency transportation.
Essential personnel should work with their supervisors to determine whether to report to work on Wednesday.
The Emergency Policy Group will continue to monitor the weather. A decision about Thursday classes and business operations will be communicated to students and employees on Wednesday at 4 p.m. via email, text messages, social media, the UA Home page and local media.
Students and employees are encouraged to stay tuned to local weather sources and to monitor road conditions along their travel routes.

mcfarland in between campus dr and university was terrible. people were sliding everywhere and there was debris all along the side of the road.

Driving today was terrible. Second year in a row driving with people sliding everywhere after UA decided to cancel classes in the middle of the day.
