they all act like they're special when the predict something correctly, they deservedly should get nailed for this one.

Up until 9 this morning they claimed the snow would be south of Shelby Co and so. Metro Birmingham is a parking lot.

I'm already dreading my drive home in a few hours. Snow just started falling, and there are already wrecks all over this fricking city.

It's coming down good here in Midtown, but from what I can see it's not sticking to anything but cars and grass yet.

Yeah, I'm in Tucker right now. Live in Sugar Hill/Suwanee area, which is normally an 80 minute commute without this shite.

Figure I'll be home for breakfast tomorrow morning.

They let my kids out of high school at 11:00. Yeah. High school kid striving in this shite?

Fortunately, I got my middle schooler at 10:00. Couldn't make it all the way home however and had to walk about a mile in the snow.

Plenty of high school kids know how to drive in it. They're not from the deep south though.

They just closed Jeff Co schools, but buses aren't running because of roads.. Glad I don't have kids.

this could get bad. Schools are closing (as they should),but parents are going to have a hard time getting to school. Saw a JeffCo bus on Brooklane in Hueytown earlier.

Holy shite.

I don't get on the roads unless I'm going to BuHi or out of town for the most part so I haven't been on them to see the mess.

All I can see is that traffic on 17th is flowing smoothly.

Do you have any friends that ways? You may be better off staying put. Roads are already closed in Pleasant Grove.. Hueytown won't be far behind.

Go to 511ga.org and look at the map. Whole damn city is pretty much red.
