I'm surprised that we sorta brushed the whole Rick Ray "frick you" thing aside.

It was pretty goddamn terrible. Y'all know if it were Andy Kennedy doing it that other SEC fans and the national media would be all over it. Instead it's something that's barely even mentioned.

I dunno, I just find it odd.

The reaction or lack thereof is something that I find really interesting.

I think most give him a pass because it was Marshall Henderson and most people loathe him anyway.

I don't really care though and I'm sure Marshall cares even less

Yeah it's not fair, oh well.

Wilbon taking up for ray is nearly enraging, knowing how racist he is and how much he hates ole miss.

I wonder how his reaction would've been if it was a different rivalry that didn't involve ole miss and our history?

What if kennedy would've said "f u" to a black state player?

ole miss' name would've been drug through the mud on every sports news channel and probably on some non sports news stations.

It sucks, our university is always bullied by the media

Nobody gave a frick because Marshall Henderson was involved, but I do understand where you're coming from.

I think we need more emotion in sports. I liked it.

This is my ONLY issue with it. The double standard.

But take away the whole race card and I could honestly care less. It's Hendo. He LIVES to piss others off.

And I'm the same way someone else said. It's sports and a rivalry. I like that he showed that much emotion. I mean screw State and screw their coaches and most fans. And I hope they lose every game in every sport. But I could care less about this

quote:

Only Ole Miss fans would think Henderson didn't say anything to illicit a response. Should Ray have responded? If it means sticking up for his players, then absolutely.

But I guess we all believe Hendo said nothing at all. I know damn well for sure he did something just to get Rays jimmies rustled haha

I think everyone is well aware that Hendo said something. The naive fans may think that he didnt, but us logical ones know better.

Of course he did. He always does. He also isn't a grown man who gets paid a gigantic salary to both lead a group of young men and serve as a spokesperson for the university.

I can't imagine the media shitstorm that would happen if it were another coach towards another player. Since people hate Hendo so much (because they're boring) they just say "oh well, it figures" and move on.

I was not surprised in the least bit when Wilbon backed a black coach for saying F you to a white player.
