LSU will make an official announcement at 10:00 a.m. CT regarding the status of tomorrow night’s game, according to ESPN radio in Baton Rouge. A wintry mix is expected to hit the area Tuesday morning so there is a slight possibility the game may be postponed. LSU has already canceled all classes and non-athletic events.
Kentucky is scheduled to arrive this evening before the inclement weather. The team is using the Miami Heat’s airplane…

Game will be played. Kentucky arrived in Baton Rouge on the Miami Heat Plane this evening. ESPN TV production crew and truck are already in BR. Officials arrived tonight. Game is on.

Screw that I would take it as a chance to drink heavily all day for a big game. How far is the arena from Campus?

Isn't the arena on campus? Surely the students will be fine walking through an inch of snow

Over Christmas break people in Memphis treated the threat of ice like the world was ending. I can't imagine what they are going through down there.

it is on campus our student attendance is probably near 100. the rest of the fans probably wont show up after saturdays shite show and the weather.

I can't blame them honestly. Their local transportation departments probably aren't equipped to handle it, so it's probably like a ice skating rink.

I remember years ago Alabama playing at Tennessee when it was snowing in Knoxville.

All the roads and highways will be closed down so nobody will be able to get to the game except for the few students that might bother to show up and maybe a few scattered BR residents that are close to campus.
The game should be cancelled and rescheduled.

There would be zero chance if it were normal conditions. The weather may make it close.

There was an ice storm in Dallas that shut down the city for the Baylor game in Jerry's World. Somehow, over 11,000 UK fans made it to the game. I've been reading a lot of UK fans are making the trip to Baton Rouge....
If they made it down there...they will go to the game even in bad road conditions.
