It's looking very promising. Keeping Dismukes is huge, that dude is honestly one of the best centers in the nation and has been for a while. He's incredibly smart at his position.

We return 4/5. Bolded and underlined are returning starters at same position. Only position up for grabs is LT which is likely to go to a former 5* as mentioned or 4* who has starting experience at RT

Only position of returning starters that could be in jeopardy is possibly RG. Slade is not the most athletic which makes him vunerable to the talent behind him. Devonte Danzey is former JUCO OL, Jordan Diamond and Deon Mix are former 4* OL out of HS

LT- Shon Coleman Rs SO (former 5* who got cancer but healthy now) or Patrick Miller Jr (former starter at RT for about 15 games)

LG- Alex Kozan Rs SO
(Fr All American solid and improving strength his weakness)

OC- Reece Dismukes Sr.
(Rimington Award finalist)

RG- Chad Slade Sr.
(Slow as balls but 3 year starter and solid)

RT- Avery Young Rs. SO
(Returning starter, solid and athletic only getting better)

It's crazy how Alabama pulls one of the best O-lines in recent memory and Auburn goes on and does it the very next year.

A lost a top 5 draft pick at ot (of course he would have been just a guard at lsu) but all 4 others return. 5 star Coleman v 4 star Miller for lt spot.

Looks that way.

If Coleman or Miller can step up and fill the left tackle position adequately, we are set.

If they cannot, we may have to move Avery Johnson from right tackle.

End of day, we should be really good again. Only one spot to fill and several good candidates to do so. All with a lot of experience and games started.

As a proud alumnus, I can so absolutely not. In fact, Gus is coming out of the closet with trooper taylor and they will be moving to College Station.

Coaching staff seems to think that Coleman or Miller will step up. They have the talent and are solid. Avery Young (FIFY) is expected to stay at RT

I know. Just saying he is an option, although doubtful.

I agree, returning 4 of the 5 and 8 of 10 in the two deep including our starting center will be huge. We have to find a replacement at left tackle and whoever it ends up being will likely be a two year starter.

Our line will take a hit due to losing a first round left tackle but we should be fine overall. I think our offense changes dynamics a bit so a new left tackle with a different skillset will be ok.

But wait, Auburn doesn't know what the forward pass is, so they don't have to worry about protecting Marshall's blind side, right? That makes LT no more important than any other lineman.

I honestly think Coleman is going to step in and be the starter. It'd make a pretty nice feel good story on top of everything else, and he was pretty solid this past year.

I think Avery Young slides to LT and Miller step back in at RT.

Avery Young will be a first rounder before its all over with a well.

Look at a highlight film of Mason and see which side of the OL he got most of his yardage.

Damn I hope Coleman can get the LT spot and become NFL worthy. That'd be one hell of a story.
