I am just glad these severe penalties have made the players think twice...

He was smoking tha bud. Harvey Clemmons needs to lay off the damn buds before they are forced to kick him off the team. He's been busted twice. If you get busted three times do you get kicked off the team? Knowing our luck he'll get busted again, booted and Granthy and Perv Bobby will get him to transfer to Loserville. I hate giving Clem's Son and the Shamecocks an advantage every year for this bullshite!

Harvey needs to be put on the scout team for all of 2014 to send a message. If he comes back for 2015, he can compete for a starting job again.

And please do not start the 'lets legalize marijuana" crap again.

Let's just give up on our football program and form a movie production team: LINK

Is that thread still on here where everyone hated him for saying this is the first year where we won't get suspension?

Sure, that'll work says JHC as he transfers to an FCS school in preparation for the 2015 draft.

This is not 1977,when schools held all that cards and kids pretty much had no choices...

No, we need to quit fricking our kids like this. JHC's grandpa held his LOI hostage for this very reason. Top player in the state and his guardian wants him to go somewhere where he "won't get in trouble". Look at 2014 top players in Ga and ask if it is possible, even a little, that Bama, SCU, Clemson, AU and FSU are raiding our state because their programs don't use athletes as a Barney Fife training ground.

You mean by actually trying to enforce a law? You do realize that in just about every professional field, a positive drug test will get you fired, and sometimes cause you to lose your license. I have no doubt that pother teams are using the drug policy against UGA in recruiting.

Everyone says it is not chemically addictive, but no one has mentioned that it apparently is emotionally addictive as no one can seem to do without it no matter what the consequences.

And folks that want to smoke weed migrate to jobs where they won't get tested. Like LSU, FSU, AU, Bama, etc.

Fine line between enforcing rules & doing the right thing vs lining your kids up returning from spring break after notifying the AJC so they can get some action shots.

And fwiw a university's mission is teaching young people, not "enforcing the law" if that's what you think UGA is doing.

Lets not forget,JHC ADMITTED to smoking weed the first time...did NOT pee test negative.Kid comes clean the first time and we still put the hammer down. Moral of the story...LIE YOUR arse OFF if confronted by an RA about weed/blunt etc.
