Has anyone been dominated over the last 7 years like Tennessee has by Bama?

I mean.... Look at this shite....

All Alabama...

2007. 41-17
2008. 29-9
2009. 12-10
2010. 41-10
2011. 37-6
2012. 44-13
2013. 45-10

And the one year it was close, Tennessee's head coach was Alabama's current offensive coordinator. Alabama will win at least 25 more in a row over the Vols...... Tennessee, you are a complete pile of rotting dog shite. Even Auburn has been able to stay on a level playing field with Alabama here and there, and they are in the same fricking state...

Hey give the Viles credit, they were tied with the 2011 team at the half.

Some of us have an even longer streak over them.

True, but Alabama has won 8 of 9 and has far more severe beatings over Tennessee since 2007 than Florida has.

They haven't even been able to keep it within double digits of Muschamp.

LSU over State since the Reagan administration has been pretty damn bad.

That's pathetic. Even State keeps it close with LSU from time to time.

If you look up the 3rd Saturday in October's history you will see it is VERy streaky by nature almost. Alabama and Tennessee's ups and downs seem to coincide at odd intervals. For example, Tennessee was a force during the late 90s while Alabama was wandering in the wilderness, From 1995 to 2004 Alabama won a grand total of...1 game (in Knoxville no less). Beginning in the mid 00s UA and UT's fortunes took a role reversal and now from 2005 to 2013.... Tennessee has a grand total 1 win.

Now.... duplicate this flippy floppiness back to the leather helmet days and you get a number of dominating runs. And if it makes you feel any better, Alabam is reaching the record, meaning the Vol's fortunes may just be changing...

...but probably not.

2006 48-17
2005 37-7
2004 51-0
2003 41-6
2002 31-13
2001 42-0

LSU scored more points in 3 of those games than State did in that entire stretch.

True, but Mississippi State isn't a traditional power like Tennessee and shares the state with Ole Miss.

So if they aren't exactly similarly situated the domination over another team doesn't count?

Spurrier's Florida teams used to own LSU much to my displeasure. It made the breakthrough game in 97 when LSU upset an undefeated Florida team ranked #1 and coming off a NC all the sweeter FWIW - but my god did they beat the hell out of LSU for years.

We can't have anyone interrupt his Bama fap thread. That would be inconsiderate.

Here lately Arkansas has been awful against Bama. 111 unanswered Alabama points on the pigs currently.

With Saban only having probably at most 5 more years at Bama, possibly fewer, the real question is will Tennessee go 0-X against Bama in the Saban era.

Oh how I miss the days when the only SEC team we had to worry about was Tennessee.
