Did Pruitt call the plays for the defense all year. I had heard that Kelly was the brains behind the operation. Just wondering if the new UGA coordinator is legit.

DC Pruitt is legit, but FSU will suffer.

I better be careful I have a feeling that Ocean bitch will come in and offer a permanent ban bet. I hope someone takes him up on his offer and sends him packing.

Some FSU guys on another site are saying he was strictly just a motivator, and nothing more. Charles Kelly and Sunseri called all the plays. I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything.

While it is true that Charles Kelly and Sal Sunresi had prior DC experience. While FSU was Jeremy Pruitt's first DC job. However I highly doubt that Richt and Co hired a DC without a thorough check on his capabilities. I am sure they did tons of interviews/heavy questioning before making the Pruitt hire. UGA could have hired Charles Kelly or Sal Sunresi as the DC.. however they did choose Pruitt and that should tell you something.

I think Pruitt is a phenomenal hire. Wasn't he running his own defense at Florida State?

Can't speak to Pruitt, but their defense was the fastest defense I'd seen all year. They had some talent out there for sure.

With FSUs schedule and their talent on Defense, what Coordinator in the SEC would not have looked good playing in the ACC. If you want to judge Pruitt, use the BCSNCG as your benchmark. AU had 440 yards on Offense and left a lot on the field with the passing game. I do not think UGA will have FSUs talent next year and I know they will not have their schedule.

Yeah, he back out already. Just so everyone is knows, I am fully aware of Pruitt calling the plays at FSU last year. This topic was created as a smoke out for The Ocean to get him back over to the RB to man up to a ban bet. Thanks for the participation that it received.

He's got 21/22 two deep returning and the only thing we have for him as a DC is the number one defense in the country.

Forgive us for being excited.

Returning 21/22 off a bad defense does not alway mean there will be a turnaround. This is a Defense that gave up 566 yards to AU and 495 yards to GT, so they were not playing very well at the end of the year. I do not think injuries could be blamed for their performance.

You're going 9-3 or worse and you'll lose in Athens. Accept it and move on.

By the time AU plays UGA in Athens, Richt and Pruitt will have to be looking for other jobs after losing to Clemson, SC, Mizzu and UF. I do not think UGA Fans are going to put up with Richt underachieving anymore.

No one mentioned anything about injuries?

Lol, you're ignoring my notion. Obviously the coaching was the cause of this bad defense, not lack of talent. Or maybe you disagree what difference a year can make in regards to coaching?
