They should just schedule West Ga or Kennesaw St and get it over with.

The ACC rolls that way apparently....Clemson is doing it as well: already played SC State and Citadel last season, and now will play SC State again and GA State, who they replaced Coastal Carolina with (CCU is discontinuing scheduling gms with FBS schools due to their HC expecting to having them play a lot of post-season gms in the future).
That's how Clemson got that ACC BCS bowl bid last yr., and I guess how it expects to get to the top 4 next season to make it into the post-season. Used to be teams got penalized by running through weak schedules like that: the ACC gets awarded.
With the 2014 season, Clemson will have played 21 games vs FCS opponents beginning with the 1992 season (23 seasons), the first yr. USC was part of the SEC. In that same time, USC has/will play 10 FCS opponents. USC only started playing a FCS opponent on a regular basis in 2006, when it agreed to schedule a game each season versus an in-state FCS school.
USC played Wofford in 2001 in a hastily scheduled replacement for it's game with FBS member Bowling Green St. earlier that was canceled due to the terrorist attacks in NYC and Wash., DC: the game was scheduled for the next Saturday after the attacks - the next available off-week for USC was Nov. 3rd but BGS had a gm scheduled that week with someone else, so USC scheduled Wofford to make up the 11th game for that season. It was the first FCS opponent USC would play since joining the SEC in 1992. The Gamecocks would play Div. 1-AA (FCS) opponents regularly as an independent, and the last time they scheduled 2 in the same season was in 1990, when we played Citadel and Southern Illinois...

Know how I know you're obsessed with Clemson? You come to a UGA site, see a post about Georgia Tech, and immediately write 4 paragraphs trying to belittle Clemson. I wonder how many decades it would take of winning before you guys stop reacting like little brothers towards Clemson.
