Damn, I mean it wasn't his best, but he wasn't garbage either.
He was bad. His stats aren't great and don't even tell the story. Nearly 100 of those yards were on a play our DB fell down and another where they ran into each other which turned a 5 yard gain into a 55 yard gain. His two TDs were on a swing pass and a 1 yarder.
He held onto the ball too long several times, fumbled, and missed a lot of throws badly for most of the night.
Garbage may be too strong a word but AU almost won the national championship largely because of his play.

for alabama fans to be so desperate for this guy to be their savior.
Bruh, his arm is stronger than J-Marcus.
His legs carry him as if he were gliding on clouds.
His teammates and coaches have only good things to say!
Remember how the Alabama fans (and many others) gave LSU fans shite about "Mett-siah" when Mett came in and only threw 12 touchdowns in his first season? They're building up Coker in much the same way. I saw one prediction that Coker was gonna throw for 3,900 yards and 35-40 touchdowns. For real.

if we're to take that quote as the truth, we're to assume he has a better arm than Peyton Manning. Sure thing
I'd bet my dick and balls he has a better arm than Peyton Manning. That isn't really saying much, Manning has never had a cannon and it's not exactly getting better with age

Don't forget that his WR's were dropping easy 1st downs too, but you rather blame Winston for an "almost" victory.
Ball placement was key on that pass to Greene between 2 defenders, but Jameis deserves no credit at all.
I'm not saying he played great. He didn't, but garbage. No. He stepped up when it counted the most.

It was 3,500 rather than 3,900

If Coker comes to Bama, and the OL improves greatly, could we finally have a season where the QB has around 3500 yards passing, 35-39 passing TDs, and 2 1200+ yard runners?

Actually, if we play 15 games, those numbers aren't completely unrealistic,

That's pretty weak bro. The first part was a question and the answer was dependent on playing 15 games.

Is it?

Based on Bama getting Coker (which looks likely) and Bama's o-line improving (which Bama fans will gurantee). That guy at least thinks that those 2 simple things happening, opens the door for 3500 yards and 35-39 touchdowns for Coker.

He still has to win the job
It would help the program and development of Cornwell out tremendously if he did

Why would a HOF backup have to win a job?

Asking if it is possible is a weird way to show you think something is going to happen.
Posted on 1/22/14 at 2:24 pm to TreyAnastasio
The fact he even asks, suggests he believes it could happen. Which is laughable.
Posted on 1/22/14 at 2:25 pm to Lsuhoohoo
His stats again if he wins the starting job will not be that crazy, no ones will at Bama under Saban unless Kiffin turns the O into 05 USCw but he will provide a different element as a runner and passer. He is by all accounts faster and more elusive than Jameis very athletic, could be a good one but the jury is still out for sure

Thinking it could happen and predicting are two different animals. You want to believe that Alabama fans are putting that much stake into an unproven QB. You are reading something that isn't there.
Posted on 1/22/14 at 2:33 pm to TreyAnastasio
Weren't ya'll ready to crucify Nussmeier for airing it out with ya'll's best QB ever and not sticking to the run? But now its time to set school passing records with a first year starter?
Posted on 1/22/14 at 2:34 pm to Lsuhoohoo
Either get on the Lane Train or get runover bruh

It's possible but not likely. If you extrapolate AJ's numbers from 13 games this year to 15 games he barely reaches that number.
