LSU has a terrible fanbase when it comes to basketball. And I say terrible in the sense that when we play well, we show up to watch. When we don't, it's dwindled down to the hardcore fans which are sadly few and far between. We couldn't draw a decent crowd with money taped underneath each seat. Which other SEC schools are like this?

We are actually better basketball fans then most assume. The fan base just wants our coach gone desperately, so the enthusiasm is extremely low.

I think Florida, Kentucky and Arkansas bring it pretty consistently. Tennessee?

Ours is terrible too. We're averaging over 2000 less than capacity with the Marshall Henderson experience.

Tennessee and Vandy are both right up there, but Tennessee fans aren't the biggest Cuonzo Martin fans right now and Vandy is just not very good right now.

I have no idea how Vandy is doing this with their scholastic requirements. Maybe they are leaner than I thought

No idea, but they have had a good amount of foreign players the last couple years.

They lost a lot of talent 2 years ago and haven't quite rebounded from it yet.

Mostly all of the SEC basketball Programs are terrible. Exactly why we start preparing for next football season immediately after the previous

If we win at bama Saturday, watch how packed the PMAC will be for Kentucky on Tuesday. It will be full of "fans" who will swear they've been to every game this year.

This will be that way even y'all lose to us. Kentucky fills everyone's arena when they come to town.

Basketball can't be too difficult considering you only get 13 scholarships.

Remember Duke is one of the best basketball programs in the country. Harvard is currently one of the better mid-majors right now.

True. But it will be a hot ticket just because LSU would be on a 3 game SEC winning (if we win)streak at home facing ranked Kentucky on ESPN in prime time.

Same with LSU during the Trent years, you have to be careful becuase once that attitude sets in (i.e. LSU) it will take a tourney run to get rid of it.

Outside of Fla, UK, and Tenn, SEC basketball fans suck unless their team is really good.
