Losing Slayton would be awful. Auburn recruited him as a CB and maybe they are making the pitch for WR now that they are desperate. They were confident in some guys that didn't pan out.
The issue with Slayton is his family ties to AU. If we don't get him in this weekend he is probably as good as gone.

Son of a bitch. My initial reaction is that Godwin wouldn't do that this late in the game unless he was legitimately interested in what they have to say.

Slayton is a serious concern. He is a beast and we need WRs. Van Jefferson jumping ship makes it a must to keep Slayton and Godwin. The class needs good WR prospects who can contribute early.

I think it's funny how everybody completely ignored my post about Terry the other day. He personally told me he was going to Georgia no questions about it. Am I 100% confident no but I'm about 99.9999999% confident he will sign with us. Me and him text and hang out when I'm back from school and he's never talking about any other school other than UGA. Loves Richt way too much to go anywhere else. Just STFU about him already, Radi and everyone else is just posting bull shite so people will pay them.

Keep in mind I said I wasn't 100% because you never can be when it comes to this kind of stuff but I'm definitely willing to go on record by saying Terry will be a dawg come NSD.

I played at LaGrange High while he plays across town at Callaway. Those two didn't start playing eachother until this past season after I graduated but me and him played Rec ball together for years and all that jazz so I know him pretty well.

Let’s not forget RLR called Godwin to UGA a few years ago. And he has never changed his tone. When the rumors pop up, and RLR speaks, it’s time to put it to rest. Off all the bullshite sources on the GA board, RLR is the most realistic.

Godwin has never given indication he was going anywhere else. Kid wore shoes with Go Dawgs on them at the all star game. He said he was rooming with Trent forever ago. Zero doubt about his commitment from me.

Yes I wish I could give you an update on Slayton but I cant. I would love to have him. I'll try to ask Terry about him, the only recruit he always said was all dawg was Trent but I'll ask about Slayton and get back to yall.
