Terrell Chatman Yes Please. Reminds me of AJ Green. Size, GREAT hands, and shifty. Bring him home, Schotty!

Rusty's cold hard facts post this afternoon isn't very encouraging... The Slayton & Godwin drama won't die...

Looks alot like what Rumphsquatch could've been. Let's hope he doesn't have the weakest hammy's ever.

Slayton's recruitment is total roller coaster ride that changes from day-to-day and don't expect Godwin to spend much time, if any, in Athens this weekend as he will host Auburn at his home that day. Basically, not great news. He did say that he fully expects Godwin to sign with UGA, but my feeling is that when Auburn gets their foot in the door and starts throwing money at mom and pops, anything can happen.

Oh stop it. You should be banned for even mentioning these 2 guys in the same sentence.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Auburn would offer money to a recruit already committed to UGA. They're a little too skittish for that much in your face. Just a personal opinion, but losing Slayton would be a bigger disappointment for me.

from Nick Buchanan....

quote:

“I did not talk to Cal today but I got a call from UGA. They are going to come to my house around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. It’s (offensive line coach Rob) Sale and (offensive coordinator Brian) Schottenheimer coming. Before I left UGA on Sunday, Coach Richt had told me that they were bringing in another offensive lineman for a midweek visit this week. Coach Richt wanted me to be aware of the situation because if the midweek guy committed, then there wouldn’t be a spot for me.

“When I talked to UGA today, they didn’t mention anything about that to me. I still feel the same about the situation. I’m 100-percent committed to Cal, but I’m listening to what other people have to say. I have some things to think about. If the offer is not there, then it wasn’t meant to be. Then I would move on to the next option. So I’m going to Florida this weekend. I told South Carolina and Penn State I wasn’t going there this weekend yesterday.”

It's always funny seeing guys say "I'm 100% committed." I don't think they know what that means

And I don't blame recruits at all for taking their max number of visits and seeing what all opportunities are out there, it's a huge decision and they need all the info they can get. But just say that instead of "I'm 100% committed but will listen to what others say and may change my mind."

Damn - Buchanan's picture looks like he just received a beating all around his eyes, but he's still smiling.

The biggest commitment any of these kids have made prior to this one is to a girl or Jesus Christ. And either were ill-advised and doomed from the start.

That's their commitment track record.

Have we yet to hear reactions from recruits and their families after talking with Schott?

It's more than a little critical that he makes a dynamite first impression and I don't recall reading much either way at this point.

Jake Rowe has said that Schott is a hit with the parents in particular. Very Richt-like with them.
