I think Slayton is more questionable than Godwin. The coaches seemed to have some concern, based on their response this week. Getting him back on campus with Coach Schottenheimer is another chance to demonstrate how we'll use his talents in our offense. I hope they can reinforce all the reasons he committed to UGA and convince him that it's still the right choice.

247's visitor list under the recruiting dropdown box is showing this guy as OV'ing this weekend. Any one know anything? Not really heard his name anywhere this week...

I definitely don't have any sources other than the lying media "experts", but I like what yours are saying. I do have confidence that between CMR and CBS, they can show DS a ton of good reasons for him to choose UGA.

Yeah, Baker is really underrated and has a chance to make a splash, a la Dominick Sanders, if we can keep him in the fold.

Auburn 247 site says Gus is trying to push for an in-home later this week. Also says Godwin will make a "final decision" on Signing Day. Has that always been the plan?

Yeah. It's frustrating, but in fairness, Godwin was up front about that when he committed.

If there's one good thing about that, he seems to be a good kid and has a very good relationship with our staff. It's kind of hard to believe that he'd remain committed all this time and stick it to CMR at the very end of signing day.
