UGA is now third behind UA and AU. Need to fill the staff positions before the dead period ends or we're going to bleed offensive commits

Not good considering Pat Allen is a very soft commit and Sage Hardin, according to Rowe, cannot be considered a solid commit. I hope Richt has a plan in place, because he’ll need to be decisive filling the OC and OL coach.
Van Jefferson is also quoted as saying it’s 50/50 between UGA and Ole Miss. It requires patient, but this class is in flux right now.

Make or break for the future of the program right now. Bout to find out if we're going to move up and join the Bamas of the world or go back to the 90s because of infighting within the upper levels. Lot of blame to toss around if the latter

Is there any chance at all Mike Tice, who did a great job with the Falcons' OL, all 15 who played due to so many injuries to the guys originally on the starting line or in the two deep, would be willing to serve a three year term as OL and OC for Mark Richt?
I'm figuring everybody gets fired after yesterday's Falcons' debacle, so maybe we swoop in and grab him for 1.2 mil per year for three years or so?
Mike Tice was HC in the League for awhile.
Either get him or pay big bucks to bring Bamer's OL coach over here.

Anyway, don't want to lose our OL recruits, and need really bad to bring in Valentine and another OL to have 5 to re;place the 6 or 7 we lost off the OL.

Per the Rivals guys Valentine has eliminated us for his services. Its down to Barn and Bama.

The negative recruiting is at full volume right now, wouldn't be surprised to see us lose 3-4 committed players & R. Smith might be the only one left on our uncommitted list that we pull for '15...

It's not that bad as long as the staff is settled when the dead period ends and we don't lose Pruitt for whatever reason.

Win tomorrow and lock down the staff before the dead period ends and we will be ok. Fail to lock down the staff and it'll be some tough shite moving forward.

I wouldn't be suprised if Richt already has his guy. Personally I wouldn'y want to wait until the dead period was over. I'd want to announce it shortly after the bowl game.

I'm sure Richt has a shortlist of candidates he knows or wants to consider, but I highly doubt he has anyone in particular pegged already. No time to interview people in Charlotte amidst all the bowl prep. I think phone calls have probably gone out to four or five guys around the country regarding an interview later this week which means we could have someone pegged as early as Monday or Tuesday of next week.
