“Oregon State was Jacob’s first offer, and everybody said Mike Riley will never leave. He was born and raised in Corvallis. Then the next thing you know, the guy is at Nebraska. Then it was the Washington Huskies staff … he was looking at those guys, and then the next thing you know they’re all down at USC.
“If anything, with Jacob being recruited so early, he’s used to coaching changes. I told Jacob you’ve got be sold on a school. It is a lot about relationships, but it’s got to be more than that. And UGA is more than that for Jacob. It’s not just about one guy. We have faith that Coach Richt will bring in the right guy.

Eason is never going to play for UGA for a few reasons. As we all know, the coach he loved is gone. Also, Ramsey is going to ball out this year and Eason will wanna go somewhere he's gonna play sooner. If he wants to redshirt, and sit a year then that's fine I guess, but I'm guessing he doesn't want to.

He's not coming to UGA anymore, doesn't make sense.

While Ramsey could certainly turn out pretty good, it's a little early to start saying he's going to be so good that there's no way Eason is going to come here. And hasn't Eason known all along that Ramsey was here and was going to be starting next year?

I'm not even going to pretend to know what'll happen with Eason but that seems a little over the top.

Yeah, except his dad has already dispelled those rumors and we have no idea how good Ramsey will be.

Uhh, Ramsey is 3 years ahead of Eason. If Ramsey ends up being incredible, he's gone as a RS Junior. That would mean Eason has 3 more years to potentially start for us. And if he's that good, he'll start for 2 years and move on as well.

You went full retard. Never go full retard.

you guys are complete idiots, what do you think the dad would just come out and say "oh yea, we're done with UGA, Bobo's gone, we're out" He wouldn't say that, no one would say that in this situation.

Is anything i said outside the realm of possibility?

1. Ramsay proves to be solid
2. favorite coach gone

Those are legitimately real factors that could convince him to at least look elsewhere. Now a 17 year old kid has another year to weigh his options.

NONE of that is implausible, we have seen crazier stuff happen, so stop being fricking homers about this and admit that we're in a worse position to land him now. Im not saying it will happen, but now the door has cracked open slightly for another school with a better situation for him to come calling.

I agree that it doesn't help our chances. But:

is overreacting. It's not being a homer to not suddenly decide "nope, no way he comes here."

That's rich. But who would want to be rich in Athens, right?

I would bet hard earned money that both Mark Richt and Jacob Eason will be together in Athens in 2016. I would feel better if Bobo was still OC with a big raise but things will work out.

Naw, brah. That's you for coming in here spewing that shite immediately after we have 2 different quotes from his dad saying he's solid.

He 100% could have said that, or, he could have said "no comment" and not say anything. No one is making him say anything. That's a vote of confidence. You're just being a twat.
