Then he should lay off kids that are committed elsewhere and not try to flip them.

To the "smoke-screen" idea about Harrison..Trent Smallwood confirmed with Harrison via text that he is in Athens. Boo-ya..like this kid if he's giving Bama the bs hahaha.

Trent also tweeted we have Louisville LB commit Amonte Caban on an official..anyone have any info on him? Also, Jake Reuse put that we have Miss St commit Jarvis Wilson, a DB, in Athens as well. Not sure about either of them honestly..

Even if FSU pulls it out, this is a great game for Sweat to be at right now. Night and day between this game and what he saw last weekend.

FSU looking like crap in the rain in a half empty stadium compared to UGA dominating a top 10 Auburn team in front of a raucous crowd in cold weather?
Yeeeeeeeeah

Rusty just confirmed that Harrison was in Tuscaloosa today, not Athens. Trent was wrong apparently.

too long to mention... nothing solid.
but I'd think you could say McFadden ship has sailed
his reaction to Boston College game
I don't know how one could say FSU gets lucky every week. Luck is a one time thing, not
considered lucky when you keep winning

What I don't get is why anyone would commit early to Bama. basically, if they find someone they like better who commits later, they will drop you like a hot potato anyway. There is quite literally NO advantage to committing early to them. These kids may think they are reserving their spot, but the reality each year is that a few find out just how big that lie is.

They want to be part of a winner and are willing to gamble.

I'm confused when people say something similar to this. Are you criticizing him because he has a faith that he believes in....or are you criticizing him for treating people the right way?

Fair enough, but if you expect a kid who is committed to honor that, then you don't tell a kid who has been committed for almost a year and was the first commit in the class oops sorry we have other kids we want more can you take a grey shirt.
Saban deserves to be treated the way he treats recruits.

I'm criticizing him for letting something that should have nothing going to do with his job (his faith) overrule what he gets paid to do (stock his team with the players who will give at team the best chance at winning). Btw, winning is job #1 for his job description.

Mike Davis was going to Bama before they told him he would have to gray shirt due to tearing his knee up in high school. Sure Bama has their fair share of talent at RB but having Mike Davis would help. It cuts both ways

The point is Saban offered this guy a scholarship not a grey shirt. If you expect recruits to live up to their word you should be man enough to live up to yours.

Is it me, or does it seem that our once sick-to-be class is dropping pretty fast?
