I'd prefer WR right now but it depends on how the class fills out.

Anybody heard anything out of Preston Williams? I'd love to flip him like they did Da'rick Rodgers.

UGA is staying in contact with Williams and Edoga, but both are long shots right now.

Van Jefferson is the WR to be excited about, if you ask me. He is college ready right now and will probably be the best route runner on the team the second he steps on campus in December. If he can build a good working relationship with the QBs, he's an instant-impact kind of player.

I just watched quick interview with Josh "Sweet Knee" Sweat, he confirmed OV's with VT, UGA, and FSU. He mumbles a little, not as bad as the guy on Dick Tracey movie, but I still couldn't catch the dates.
But he said he will announce before December is over, a week or two after final OV.
I'm glad AU won now, cause if its a night game in Athens, and we are still a one loss team and so is AU. It will be Ludicrous!

quote:

Colonel Sandurz: We're closing in on them, sir. In less than a minute, Lone Starr will be ours.
Dark Helmet: Good! Prepare to attack!
Colonel Sandurz: Prepare to attack!
Dark Helmet: On the count of 3. 1...2... [the Winnebago goes into hyperspace] Late! What happened? Where are they?!
Colonel Sandurz: I don't know, sir! They must have hyperjets on that thing!
Dark Helmet: And what have we got on this thing, a Cuisinart?!
Colonel Sandurz: No, sir!
Dark Helmet: Well, find them, catch them!
Colonel Sandurz: Yes, sir! [turns on microphone] Prepare ship for light speed!
Dark Helmet: No-no-no, light speed is too slow!
Colonel Sandurz: Light speed too slow?
Dark Helmet: Yes, we're gonna have to go right to... Ludicrous speed!
[The entire crew gasps in horror]
Colonel Sandurz: Ludicrous speed?! Sir, we've never gone that fast before! I don't know if the ship can take it!
Dark Helmet: What's the matter, Colonel Sandurz? Chicken?
Colonel Sandurz: [stuttering, sounding much like a chicken] Prepare ship-- [more clearly and loudly] Prepare ship for ludicrous speed! Fasten all seat belts, seal all entrances and exits, close all shops in the mall! Cancel the three ring circus! Secure all animals in the zoo--
Dark Helmet: Give me that, you petty excuse for an officer! [Takes the microphone] Now hear this! Ludicrous speed--
Colonel Sandurz: Sir, hadn't you better buckle up?
Dark Helmet: Ah, buckle this! Ludicrous speed, GO!

For those that are worried about Terry Godwin. He won't be flipping.

He really is just enjoying the process but he is a lock.

He's most likely going to commit to FSU on Friday, but it's not going to be over then. He's still got an OV to UGA

crow is right... which is what was mentioned by saved that even though he verbals on Fri he may flip. My counter to that is does he seem like a kid that would flip?

The mod over there doesn't think he'll OV to UGA after making this decision on Fri and also "Georgia has already started offering other corners this week and McFadden has a lot more people in his family comfortable with FSU."

also

" "It was a great game, the stadium was rocking," he said. "It was my first time attending a game there and I enjoyed being a part of the atmosphere. It was a good experience.

"Florida State has a great coaching staff and atmosphere," he said. "I really enjoyed my visit. My family liked it, too."

"I have a good relationship with defensive coaches Charles Kelly, Sal Sunseri and Bill Miller," said McFadden. "They told me they want me to choose Florida State."

"LSU has a great program. I really like what they do with their corners," said McFadden, who is in the process of scheduling his official visit to Baton Rouge. "I just need to visit to see what it's like. I talk with defensive backs coach Corey Raymond from time to time.

"I've visited Georgia and they have a great atmosphere in Athens. I like the coaches and the scheme. I have some high school teammates that play there, big time players. Isaiah McKenzie and Sony Michel tell me that I can come there and make an impact on their defense. I also know Georgia isn't afraid to play freshmen."

"McFadden will announce his college choice during his school's senior night on Oct. 31. However, the nation's No. 4-rated cornerback says he's not sure yet how he'll make his decision public. "

who knows... he may postpone it. I think it's a toss up... but will say UGA gets him in the end.

This wouldn't really be an indication on McFadden. UGA isn't going to quit on him. UGA needs like 3 more corners

He's said he would multiple times

I know these aren't your opinions, just pointing out the flaws in their stance

Their coaches are fricking worms. That program is rotting from the inside out with discipline issues and an "all is well" mentality. Lost all respect for Fisher this season based ont he way he has handled all of these incidents.

Serious question - all these folks that make predictions - what are they basing it off of? Or are they really just beat writers looking for hits?
