If so, things must look bad for Pellerin.

Can someone delete this a-hole's posts on the recruiting thread. Post this crap somewhere else.

Some people are saying it's already done. Who knows.

If that's true, I would be pretty happy about that. A juco QB with a good athletic pedigree and was highly regarded out of high school would fit in well next year. We return our three-deep on the offensive line, pick up a few key freshmen and maybe one great juco, have a ridiculous amount of skill players returning.
If Werner and Freeze couldn't win with that offense, they aren't as renowned of an offensive staff as they get credit for.

This Kelly kid has some baggage but I just watched his HUDL from this year and he looks like a better fit for UM's system than either of the 2 waiting in the wings. He is 6'3, 220 lbs and runs a 4.6 forty.
Chad Kelly Hudl
I think if he can convince the staff he won't pull the crap he did up with Dabo (then again his his HC was Dabo, who is an absolute tool) then bring him in to compete for the position.
Also, look at the Gulf Coast film. Tony Bridges is #3 and he is blazing fast and very lanky. Kelly did not throw his way but Bridges sure flashed at times especially coming across the field to hawk down a WR who probably would have scored.

Kelly would have nothing to do with Pellerin

I noticed Freeze started following him on Twitter recently. At least I think the followers are sorted by most recent. Don't know that this means a damn thing though.

I wouldn't think taking Kelly would impact Pellerin because he is rather raw and will probably need to sit for a year or two to get up to speed. In regards to another dual threat QB coming up in the 2016 class look at Keon Howard out of Laurel.
Keon Howard Hudl
His primary target is Octavious Cooley (2016 also) who is a UM lean right now. At 6'3, 230 lbs he could slim up and be a beast WR or replace Engram as TE.

This Kelly kid
Need to bring him in imo...
I have been fully open to either DK or RB taking over the QB spot but neither seem to be ready to do it yet. How many years would Kelly have 2?
He looks ready and i trust out staff to have control over him. We have TOO much talent next year to waste it on poor QB play. Bring in Kelly and lets ball out next year

2016 4* DE Jeffrey Simmons still has us as his leader and is coming for his 5th unofficial this weekend.
eta: Who is Barney Farrar? Simmons says he is his primary recruiter.

I think Pellerin is the biggest sleeper in our current class. I hope we can hold LSU off.
As far as Kelly goes I'm still not certain. I think if Buchanan has the bowl practices, spring, summer wins the job and gets the game plan structured around his skill set he would be fine as a RS soph.
Kincade for some reason doesn't seem like the same kid who wrote the letter to the coaches on signing day. I'm not sure he takes the next step we all thought he might. Its still early though if he sticks around.
Last thing, Channing Ward light has come on. No one has mentioned it but this guy has been good this year. Always seems to be making a big play.

Biggest takeaway from Kelly's film: can we please fricking hire that offensive line coach for EMCC? He has a bunch of cornfed white boys from the Delta with a collective IQ=the weight of Vince Sanders, and they're blocking like the fricking Dallas Cowboys.

Pellerin looks like a boss. Maybe it will play out like Dak and LSU, where he chose to remain loyal to MSU despite the lat offer.

Pellerin is a beast, I've seen him play live a few times, kid is a great runner. The LSU posts downing him on their RB remind me of Dak circa 2011. Meanwhile they haven't had a HS QB pan out for them since Matt Flynn in 2004.
