If you believe he's going to end up in Oxford come NSD, I don't know what to tell you.

Jason Pellerin got his 4th star on 247. Is that because he might flip to LSU?

So does this mean we don't have any faith in keeping Leo or is Walls getting the boot?

In Pellerin, Ole Miss is also getting a player that is fairly raw but his upside is as high or higher than any other quarterback in the country. Pellerin is 6-5, 225-pounds, he bench presses 400 pounds, he plays basketball and baseball in the offseason and has an absolute cannon for an arm. While he hasn't put up huge passing numbers as a senior, we feel like his athleticism, arm talent and upside make him one of the best upside takes at the quarterback position in the 2015 class. Even if he doesn't pan out as a quarterback, he could be an outstanding tight end in Oxford.

It's a great site, by far the most user friendly, but they are the most influenced by the size of fan bases. They are still the new guy and have to build up their numbers. State fans love it because Paul is by far the best and the best site at evaluating, rivals, has a terrible MSU mod. I think 247 is better about changing their evaluations and not being stubborn like I feel rivals can be but they are very lax on evaluation and let the business side effect their rankings too much

I don't necessarily disagree with that. However, when you compare 24/7 to Rivals, Scout, and ESPN (LULZ) there is no comparison.

Saying 24/7 is garbage is just ignorant. That's what the "Wut" was for.

Paul is our best, but the old Rivals guy is pretty good too. Paul and Robbie are now doing our 24/7 site together. Robbie just suffered because Rivals sucks huge dick when it comes to ranking guys that are underexposed and don't have a lot of film. Rivals relies solely on film, and the 24/7 guys are good about actually seeing a guy in person, or at least take the word of one of their employees that has.

Honestly, what do you think about the whole Leo situation?

I do value your opinion, so this is a serious question, even though when someone says "serious question" it normally means quite the opposite.

It worries me.
Either he would rather be in Starkville and/or rather hang out with the people who will be in Starkville. Now he has said he thinks OM is a better fit for him and that's why he chose us. While he likes state and has more friends there, the best business decision for him is OM. We knew that back when he committed so nothing has changed on that front. State will stay popular no matter what because of his friends.

There's several reasons I could come up with that are realsitic as to why OM fans shouldn't worry, but in the end, no one knows what this kid really is thinking so paying attention to his actions are important. So which action is more telling... Committing to OM or visiting a smaller game instead of the game of the week at the school you are committed to?

The only thing I know for certain is Leo, likes Javon, wants the full recruitment experience. If they need to do or say somethig to spark that I think they will. Is that why Leo is going with his visit? Probably not. The truth is the reason could be as simple as he gets to ride with his friends to Starkville while a booster would have to bring him to oxford. Long story short, I'm nervous but do not think we can put weight on every single decision a 17 year old makes. So many other things could he reasons as to why a kid committed to OM would rather go to Starkville this weekend

Rivals has the most camps. They have the most scouts. They invest the most money in recruiting. They have the best all star game. 247 is better at finding diamonds, especially earlier than others but overall facts are facts. Rivals is more reliable overall with the least amount of bias.

I guess in the end, both Staffs have something to feel good about regarding Leo. Obviously y'all have his commitment, but his friends and visits make us feel good too.

I like our Linebacker corp, so I won't be completely butthurt if he sticks with y'all, but at the same time I won't be as ignorant as to say we couldn't use him or that we don't need him.

Agree to disagree about Rivals. My opinion is completely biased though because our Rivals site has sucked so bad for so many years.

Think we sign Kelly from EMCC or just let one of the freshmen take it over? I've watched Kelly play on film and in person, and he is not only a great talent, he is a winner!

I hope not. Buchanan or Switchblade needs to take over. If neither gets their shite together, throw Pell/Dak 2.0 into the fire.

Not saying he's wrong, but Farrod locked in his plans to go to Starkville. Will be surprised if Leo isn't with him.

Especially makes sense for Javon though, two of his top 3 are playing in Oxford.
