I think Kelly is precautionary. We would be the best chance for him to jump right into a winning program and he knows it. Freeze will sort out QB during those extra bowl practices and if they offer Kelly, freeze thinks the QBs need another year.
I think the only way you go that route is the above and you feel Kelly could have a Cam Newton 1 and done type impact.

Rankin would be smart to go to state. We return everyone on our two deep except Bell and he is going to want To start right away. Idk how state's depth chart is but I believe they will at least lose their LT this year.
Plus we are still working to pull in Womack who I think we value more.

Yeah, but the guy playing RT this year will be over there next year. That opens up RT, but to me Rankin looks like a G.

I just meant that with the LT leaving it opened a spot up somewhere on the line. Not necessarily that Rankin would be there.

Indeed. We need 2012 Denzel and Russell to really step up in place of DT. Depth would be what's nerve wrecking though.
