I might get grief for saying this, but I still can't get as excited about the IB after losing the BCS.

Was about to post something very similar weagle....it's "cute" but doesn't mean a damn thing now. Maybe it will next year or in a few years buttt now? Well....it looks like Dee Ford is STILL being held by the FSU line........ Sigh.

it's pretty ridiculous if you can't enjoy that game and the 2013 season as a whole.
the kicksix will be talked about for as long as they play football... it's up there with the greatest plays in football history PERIOD... right next to Stanford/Cal, the immaculate reception, etc. It will outlive all of us... and we were all there to watch it go down.

I think we'll all be able to enjoy it eventually for what it was. But right now is just too soon..especially how we lost the title game.

So basically you guys can't enjoy any AU game in history that didn't take place in 1957 or 2010? That sucks.

This season was absolutely perfect to be in the student section. Nobody thought we were any good at all in the beginning of the year (and we really weren't), so we could really enjoy the good games versus not so great opponents. That last play versus MSU was wild.
Then as the year went on we escalated our play to match our opponents and the games had a lot more meaning every week. Just a fantastic season all around to go to the games.

Meh. I'm just not excited to revisit Bama right now after losing the NC in the last few seconds recently. I can't stop thinking about how hard it is just to get in position to play for the NC, much less have a chance to win.
Not all of us grieve the same way...
