Holy shite.

I would have never imagined we would ever do something like this. Maybe we actually can turn the corner.

Speaking of Collins, what are you thinking his salary will be after the pay raise?

My guess would be 500-600k.

That's basically correct...

Rumor is we've got another $200-300k to spread around as Mullen sees fit not including the pay for a new member of the staff(that's another $340k that is essentially "free" right now)...

Congrats for him. He totally earned it as the season progressed.

I still don't like this. It could cause dissension fast. This is Stricklin's job, not Mullen's.

I agree.

May just be Stricklin deflecting, I dunno...

I could go either way. As of today, I'd vote giving Gonzo a raise -- and restructure them all on incentives for the year we are expecting to have next year with Dak. Then pay them all hansomely if/when the offense is as good as I think and hope it should be next year.

I don't really like giving them much of a raise ahead of that...for another pretty average offense under Mullen. Achieve on the same level as the defense and THEN you get paid on the same level as the defensive coaches.

THIS.

Defense was in top 30 in scoring, pass, and rush defense. The offense has barely cracked the top 50.

I think Scott should be saying that it's his job. I think Mullen should have a large impact on what happens in the end but Scott should shoulder the load. That way Mullen can say it wasn't his decision, as to deflect dissension.

Probably the best defensive coaching job for us since 2007.
