He is a big ole boy like Lacy, he's shifty and he has breakaway speed. If he ends up with the right team I can see Hill being a very productive back. What about Mason?

Hill will dominate.

Mason not so much.

I don't know about "dominate" mainly because the days of a running back dominating in the NFL are over however I think he will be very good

No, he won't dominate. Adrian Peterson is the only guy in the league right now who has dominated.

Hill will be really good though. If he lands with the right team, his rookie year could be something like 1300 yards and double digit TDs on a healthy 4.6ish average.

Maybe I should not have used the word dominate. I guess I want to know if he'll start and make a huge impact on the game.

He'll make a lot of teams better.

Would not mind seeing him land in a spot where he can be a one two punch, perhaps Arizona? They seem to like LSU players, and pair Hill with a young Ellington ad you've got something. Ellington can be the CoP back.

I do not think either Hill or Mason are good enough to dominate regardless of the team they are on. However, I do think both will have a very productive career if they stay healthy and on the right team.

What would be interesting to consider is which teams that would be for both backs.

Hill is a back that has vision and shiftiness and power when needed. He will be a very capable back in the nfl. I will have to see Mason in a traditional offense and not all that motion and read offense at Auburn

He could behind a stud OL but you can say that of a lot of good RB's. Hill didn't exactly dominate in college football so don't expect him to in the NFL either and at 4.63 in the 40, I would not call that break-away speed.

Ask South Carolina, A&M, & Auburn about his break-away speed. Not saying it will automatically translate to the NFL, but he definitely has more break-away speed than Lacy or Richardson.

The guy had over 1,000 last year in Loeffler's offense. The offense doesn't change the patience at the LOS, vision, or shiftiness.

Uh he averaged 6.9 yards per carry for his career in the SEC. That is pretty freaking dominant

Not for his career, just this past season. But yes, that is dominant.
